Half Life 2 PC vs Console red box

Any difference graphically in these games? I played HL2 on 360 a while back, the organe box version. I think HL was already a couple years old by the time 360 came out. Was the game basically an exacty copy of the pc version or is the pc still better? No arguments about controllers. Just looking about pure graphic and load time standpoint.

Well Valve keeps updating the source engine so no, they're not exactly the same. But even without the updates, you're going to get sharper textures at a longer distance on PC (even if you have to play it at the same resolution 720).

HDR? They backported that into the pc versions afterwards.

If you have a good enough PC, then any game available on both 360 and PC is almost always guaranteed to be able to look better on PC. Plus, HL2 PC has some graphics mods available.

The main HL2 game on 360 uses the upgraded character models from HL2 ep1 and ep 2.

There was talk about upgrading the PC version of HL2 to have the newer character models but last time I checked it hadn't happened, though that was years ago.
