Some of these bosses in Freedom Planet are really really hard.

I only played the Demo, and the bosses in there were pathetically easy, the stages in the full game are like a completely different animal. I've never died so much in a platformer before.

great game all around, btw, it's like the Sonic game that everyone has been asking Sega to make since the Sega Saturn days but never delivered.

I agree, the later bosses are absolutely VICIOUS. Especially the final boss, since he apparently has pattern randomization in his various phases, which makes predicting what he's gonna do next to be nearly impossible.

Honestly I'm tempted to lower the difficulty to Casual just for that #%^%#$@&?&#%. The game becomes much less fun when the bosses have no set pattern and can infinite combo your ass with ease :/

I just beat the game. looks like the only phase that was random was the 3rd phase, but that was also the most fun. I kind of wish they would have just skipped the first two phases and just made the 3rd phase have 3x the health.

Yeah, I got wrecked by the Stage 4 boss, and that annoying Ice miniboss in Jade Creek had me stuck for a while too before I stopped being impatient.

weird, Stage 4 boss was one of the bosses I had the least amount of trouble with. The bosses that gave me the most trouble were...

Stage 2 boss (I guess there was probably some trick to this fight that I just didn't understand)
Stage 3 miniboss and also when you fight him again
Stage 6 boss
Pangu Lagoon boss the dragon
Stage 8 boss GOD THIS F***ING BOSS JUMPING BACKWARDS AND SHOOTING AT YOU F*** THIS THING
And Dreadnoughts 1, 2, and 4 gave me a lot of trouble.

Yeah, I just went back and played Stage 4 and did it no damage. <_> I was probly too hyped off the music, but its pattern is really simple. Oddly enough I beat the second fight against the pilot with no trouble. Stage 2 Boss was a lot of fun for me, I was hype when that thing jumped down and I jumped up and dodged it. I spammed the Dragon Dash during the last phase of it for invincibility since I hadn't broken any of the crystal vases around.

Final boss though.. Damn.

Edit: And yeah, that transformer boss really pissed me off, I couldnt quite dodge the Ship forms shifting energy balls without getting hit by at least one.
