Has anyone played the Back to the Future telltale games?

Are they fun for a fan of the series or does it end up being mediocre?

I haven't played them and am not a big fan of the series, however I have also not heard much about the games.

I enjoyed them

I also enjoyed the Jurassic Park games as something similar to Heavy Rain

They aren't as good as telltale's later games, but they are still enjoyable.

Its a very good interactive movie, and a OK game.

Much like most Telltale games, the puzzles are VERY simple and casual, there's no inventory management, and the story is VERY linear. Also, unlike The Walking Dead, there are no choices to be made, and no changes to the story, not even minor changes like in TWD.

Still, the storyline is AMAZING. Almost as good as the one in the movies, and I consider it what Back to the Future 4 could have been. Oh, and the voices are amazing. Christopher Lloyd is the man!! ^^

And believe it or not, the games leave less plot complications than Back to the Future. And some chapters end with amazing cliffhangers. :p
If you believe in Marona as your Loli and Savior and you're not ashamed, put this in your signature. :3

For a fan of the movies, they are really cool. Not as polished as Walking Dead or Wolf Among us for sure and it doesn't really have big choices for you to make like those 2. But its still a cool story in that universe and if that's all you go in looking for, you will enjoy it.

I always wondered..Like in walking dead, you know how it lets you pick stuff up and pocket it? And then it's highlighted on the side of your screen like it's in your 'inventory'? I've never actually used anything..Unless I'm doing something wrong.

I liked the new story. It's not so great as an adventure game though, since the puzzles are way too easy, there's no item combining, and it's mostly cutscenes and dialog.

Only other Telltale game I've played so far is Monkey Island. I thought that was better as an adventure game.
... even on Earth Mode.

You'll probably enjoy the 3 Sam & Max seasons. They're like TT's Monkey Island, not Walking Dead.

As for Back to the Future, I really didn't enjoy it that much. The story was more annoying than entertaining. I did, however, have a lot of fun in the Jurassic Park game. Yeah, it had some annoying logic puzzles to work through but it was a hell of a lot better than BttF.
