Bit of a specific taste. Loved fire emblem and jagged alliance 2. Combat must have 8 or more people.

Needs a recruitment aspect. I don't like games that "hand" you the characters

Have you played the Shining Force games?

I'm pretty sure they're on Steam. I would describe them as "Fire Emblem-lite." Many of the characters are missable.

Xenonauts. It's an Xcom remake and it's fantastic.

Not an RPG, it's a strategy game, but it has that type of tactical battle system. It's very, very well done.

Have. Looking back it was great for the time, but man is that game forgetable.
