Need help finding an offline browser...

#1GTADriver2Posted 7/24/2014 6:30:29 PM
Trying to find an offline browser which can download web pages from sites so I can view them if I ever lose connection

I need something that works as well as this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.nikodroid.offline&hl=en

So far the closest thing I may have found is Pagenest, I say may have due to pages sometimes dying and I'd like to also be able to open the web pages from Windows Explorer itself.

Any really good ones that can do this or come close to it?

I don't have a solution for you but in the mean time can't you just save the web pages manually

This is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing, and what came up on a google search for "offline browser" was basically Pagenest and HTTrack and this list: http://download.cnet.com/windows/offline-browsers/

Of course, if you decide to download anything off of CNet, you had better be good at picking out the crapware bundled with it, or else be good at finding the REAL download link (sometimes both are necessary).
