Can't speak for ARMA 3, but the CPU will always be the bottleneck in CS:GO unless you running a really crappy graphics card. But an fx-6300+7950 should be running it at 120+ fps easily.
Heads on straight, my girlfriend's beautiful, looks pretty good to me

Sorry if I sounded rude but I didn't mean it that way. I just wanted to be informative and let people know how to check it themselves. Sorry again, I mean no offense whatsoever.

I'm kind of tired of these topics. Most of the time there is very little bottleneck and if you don't know, do this:

Download + Install MSI Afterburner
Run It
Run Your Game
Look at MSI to see the GPU usage
***If it isn't 100% then you're bottlenecking

It's not my computer though. On top of the fact, he's not a computer type of person, so he's not gonna know what he's looking at anyways.

Then why ask for suggestions? What he suggests is the best way to check. You could also try turning down the resolution an increment at a time; if the fps doesn't increase, it may be a sign of a cpu bottleneck.

Is this week the "Will a FX-6300 bottleneck X gpu?" This is what the third or fourth topic? The first one was entertaining at least.

I'll try a fresh install, see if it does anything. From what he's told me though, he's done it multiple times, but it never hurts to try.

Make sure the card is physically installed correctly, and the power supply is sufficient as well.

10-15 fps is really low even for a 6300. Something is not right.
Drugs are never the answer, unless the question is what isn't the answer.
