So my nvidia driver problems returned but went away when I installed beta driver

Yeah thats what I was thinking. As I said, I think I've run into invisible walls on that part of the map before, but i cant really remember. So it could be wonky geometry. And on a new DLC map...not surprising.

Stop playing ea games and your problems will be solved. Likely as said its an issue within the games themselves. If you play other games without problems then the card is fine.

Driver desktop crashes started up again today. Updated to the 340.52 drivers and hoping that fixes it. If not it might be a bad card.

Still doing it. Googling the issue further looks like a bad OC on the card, although it's factory OCed and therefore their problem.

I really really wish I didnt have to return it tho. It costs like $17 to return these GPUs and they keep sending me duds.

EDIT: I decided to use EVGA precision to monitor what happens when the crashes happen...nothing. Everything is stable. No spikes at all.

EDIT2: At other times when it does it, GPU usage randomly spikes to 100%.
