I'm in a mood for a D20 RPG, and for whatever reason I never got around to starting or finishing these games. I realize Jade Empire is not D20, but I included it anyway because I heard good things.

KotOR is basically one giant game with its sequel as 2 is a continuation. Both NWN campaigns are kinda boring, 2 less so. So I say Jade Empire for something fairly quick and different, NWN 2 if you want fantasy, KotOR 1 if you want sci-fi.

KoToR 2 (with restoration) > KoToR > Jade Empire > NWN2 > NWN

(Just realized "KoToR" is a s***** abbreviation. But I'm still not changing it.)

The PC version of Jade Empire is a really bad port of an already mediocre game.

Absolutely KOTOR 2 out of those, but Divi's order of priorities is accurate too imo

Will the plot of KOTOR 2 make sense if I skip the first game? Is the first game even worth skipping? Or should I just play both?

Play both. 2 is better and the plot is almost completely unrelated, they're very separate, but they're both good games.
