So do most ultrabooks kinda suck still, or are they actually decent now?

Last i saw, most of them kinda sucked and the Macbook air was the only "Decent" one, is it still the same way or have some nice ones come out yet?

Only if you shell out good money for the high end ones. They're decent, but I think the Macbook Air still hits spot on on superior build quality.

A lot of them have reached Macbook Air quality but they also cost the same or even a bit more. A lot of Windows ultrabooks do have a touchscreen if you're into that though.

They won't get much better unless new cooling techniques and new battery technology is created and cheap to manufacture. Then you also have to use those things while taking into account noise level and such.

Plenty of ultrabooks match the Macbook Air specs for less of a cost.

I don't know if you would call it an ultrabook, but the Surface Pro 3 is a huge contender against the macbook air.
