I finally got the door open so I can get to the disc drive and import my CD's. It's got the NZXT Phantom 410 gaming case. It's freaking bad ass.

It cost me $760 including tax.

Grab steam if you haven't already, it's practically a necessity for PC gaming and you'll spot some good sales, also some decent free to play games like Hawken, etc.

AMD FX-6300 + GTX 750 Ti + 8GB RAM + 1TB HDD + Windows 8.1

Works great out of the box. There is a tiny black bar at the bottom of the monitor, so the screen isn't completely filled up. but it's minor. I tried plugging in an HDMI cable but I got no display, so I'm using the VGA cable. Would the display be better with HDMI? If so, how would I make it work?

I tried Serious Sam HD 2 (the demo) and the game ran great.

Pic or it still never happend.

Wow people on this board don't read or answer the few simple questions asked XD

The reason your monitor didn't get a display out of the HDMI was more likely because your monitor wasn't set to "look for" HDMI input. Kinda like how your TV can switch between cable, input 1/2 etc. So there's a button on your monitor which will set it to look for HDMI input, use that :)

Congrats on the new PC, hope you enjoy it and the new unlocked gaming possibilities :D
