Just wondering about the following since the vita hasnt really lived up to its potential for me.

Hows the battery life, what settings does it run games at, does it run all games?

Would it run them at ultra resolution since the desktop does and are mods still compatible since its only streaming?

I think (I could be wrong as I don't have one just yet) the resolution for streaming games is 720p. I know it's not higher than 1080 for sure. As for other settings you can play with Max settings and it show on the tablet, yes. It's just resolution capped so don't expect to game at 4k or anything crazy.

The Shield works as my portable Snes, N64, GBA, NDS and PSP device. I love it for that.

The shield shows any game that runs in your PC, and from what I have seen the delay and frame rate are good. YOu need a pretty good router to have a great experience though, because streaming takes a lot of bandwith.
