Is there anyway of doing this on Steam regarding a SSD?

I thought if you moved a Steam game folder and ran it, Steam would recognize you moved it and remember it? I don't have any small games I'd want to test it with right now.

It doesn't even require Steam. It can create junctions for anything, you just have to choose the source and destination folders. I've used it with Origin and Uplay, even for games that have their own installer, with nothing going haywire. Of course, now that I've said that, nothing will work when I get home.
