Do they have monthly data caps? If so, do they actually do anything if you go over it?

Nope, I used 1.8 TBs a few months ago.

Dang that's nice. I thought my free upgrade was good, but I guess not.
My Cox Cable service was 60/10 now 120/10. The upload still sucks, but the download is cool.

Could be because they still have to prove to the FCC that the comcast merger will be good for consumers. The deal isn't 100% final yet.

And it also looks like it's mainly doing it where Google Fiber is a threat now that I think about it because I live in Ohio and I'm still paying $73 ($119 after promotion ends) for 50/5 and there has been no sign of increased speed.

It seems like Comcast and TWC are doing this in many areas where there's competition. I live in the Houston area and Comcast just upped my 25/5 to 50/5 for free (just a modem reboot was all I needed to do).

Google Fiber will likely never come to my area unfortunately, so it's likely the competition in the area. Some local companies have been making a large push in the Houston area and AT&T has been expanding U-Verse coverage like crazy.

all you have to do is tell them you're switching to fios they gave me 100/5 for free from my turbo upgrade

tho twc is still expensive for 100/5 we pay 85

fios u can get 75/75 for less than that

not to mention twc just launched 5 mb upload
