Having trouble getting my netgear n300 wireless router working...

My modem is providing me with internet just fine, but when i redirrect the modem into the router, it just has a red light where the internet light is supposed to be green... my modem isn't wireless and my wife wants the wireless hooked up so she can use the wifi, which is why i have the router... any idea why the router isn't allowing me to access the internet?

Go into the gateway (typically 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) in your browser, click on internet, and then run through the set up wizard.

If it isn't 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, type CMD into your search bar on the Start menu, type in ipconfig, and see where it says "Default Gateway" that's what you want. It's almost definitely 192.168.0.* or 192.168.1.* though.

The username and password as default is either admin, admin or admin, password.
