So I just learned that steam doesnt like when you install games from disk and prompts you to download the game instead. After doing a bit of research, I learned the work around for it by googling. Ok no big deal, I start the fresh install then i notice that steam has already taken up 10+ GB of space on my hdd and it hasnt even downloaded 100MB. I guess steam decided to reserve 10 GB for that failed downoad?

What do I do? Do I wait for the install to finish then delete the excess data? Will I know what data is excess? Can someone help me?????
Just like the Vita, PS4 has NO games.

when its done you should be able to go to steam/steamapps/downloading and clear out the failed one.
If you kill a man, you're a murderer. If you kill many, you're a conqueror. If you kill them all, you're a god.

thanks. will try when done. Valve definitely needs to update steam to auto allow disk install
