Limited Connectivity until I shutdown the wireless and turn it on again. Do you think it's most probable for the router or the wireless card to be faulty?

If you're shutting down the router constantly, it's more than likely that, have you checked for packet loss?

I had to restart my router about once a day for a few months before it finally just died on me. If you're shutting down your laptop's wireless, it could be your nic is starting to die. If you're resetting your router, I would probably buy and install a new one right now to prevent being locked out for hours without internet.

Go into your router settings and increase your DHCP lease to something like 60 days.

Usually limited connectivity means your router is working fine but something is up with your modem.

I have a cheap Netgear router (40$) and has been working wonderfully. Hell it works even better than my 80$ Linksys router I had before it.

This is true. As with limited connectivity you are still connected to the network but your Internet is not working for you. So when that happens I'd check to see if your internet is working properly.
