860m is the 770m which is still a good card

870m is brand new

I personally have a 770M and would say while it is a great little card I would recommend going with at least the 870M.

Sorry I refuse to believe anything under the worlds fastest laptop gpu would bt a "disappointment". going with the 860 m. Was told you can get maxx settings of Watch Dogs on an 860m, so stop exaggerating.

I doubt you can get max setting on a 860m. Even mid range desktop GPU's cannot do that. Now you have a "midrange" lap top GPU, but its still weaker then a desktop GPU.

I have a 860m gaming laptop and I will need to buy a desktop probably next year. It is just not going to cut it much longer. Have had this laptop 2 years though and have been very happy. Divinity Original Sin really chugs at low settings on it and I want to play that on a decent comp at some point.

Thats because you touch yourself at night.

I have an 860m and it does not max Watch Dogs. Not even close.

Not even my GTX 770 can max out Watch_Dogs (mainly because it's a poorly-optimized game), and that card is a lot more powerful. Whoever told you that was talking out of their ass. Even a 750ti outperforms the 860m, and that's a budget GPU! Just look up benchmarks if you don't believe me.

Go ahead and remain ignorant, but don't complain that we didn't tell you so when your laptop doesn't perform the way you expected it do.

Haha wow, further prooves how much of a joke PC gaming is. Too much. NOT spending anywhere near 1.5-2k on a freaking "880". Total bs. There is no way thats fair market share. Freaking rip off. Sticking to my Xb1 and Vita and just getting a 400$ laptop instead.

The only problem is I wanted to play Metro before October. Ill gladly wait instead of getting ripped off like all you fools.

You're the fool for thinking laptops can keep up with desktops. If you want to game on a laptop you have to pay for it. You get more value out of a desktop even if you spend just $800 on it.

No, it proves that laptop gaming is a joke. Yes, they're a rip off, that's what we've been trying to tell you. Any serious PC gamer is going to go with a desktop. A decent $800-1000 rig will absolutely demolish a $2000+ laptop in every single game.

This is why you don't get laptops with the expectation of "gaming"
