FFS shut the **** up. You're the single most annoying elitist on this thread. Go away. A $400 PS4 will have better performance than a $400 gaming PC. This is a fact. Sony cut a deal with AMD to get CPUs and GPUs at a lower rate than you can get them on PC. You simply can't build a rig with comparable specs for the same price.

Video proof you're wrong, and I'm an elitist with more consoles and console games than you'll probably ever own. I'm just saying the truth. I have over 1k games on Steam, I have 100+ NES games, 30+ SNES games, 50+ Genesis games, 20+ 3D0 games, ~20 Saturn games, 30 Dreamcast games, 10 gamecube games, 25 PS2 games, 15 PS3 games...

Please I'm nowhere near a PC Elitist. I play everything and anything. I just don't like when people such as yourself misinform others.

Just because the video says it can play any game at 1080p @30fps and ultra settings doesn't mean it's true and I don't have to believe it which I don't. 30fps on pc means you most likely will get slow down by the way from any dips at all.

That's not video proof of anything. That's Crysis 3 running on $150 Nvidia GPUs.

The PS4 GPU is the equivalent to an HD 7870, which is $250 new. Here's some benchmarks of the 7870 in comparison to the 550, on Crysis 3.

Some would say that the PS4 GPU is the equivalent of the 7850, which is a little over $200 new. Here's the comparison for that too.

Guess what? Still beats that crappy GPU in the video you linked.

wish that were true, but it seems like consoles have seen a large drop off in those games. now they all go to handhelds.

'How is it not proof that Crysis 3 is running better on a $400 PC than a PS4? Explain please?

Now guess what... Show me a console that plays Crysis 3 on Ultra Settings @ 1080p/30fps. You can't.

Who cares that the PS4 has a more expensive card, when it can't run the games as well as a $400 PC.

P.S. 750 Ti =! 550 ti.... not even close. Try again.

You obviously don't know much about PCs if you think a 550 ti is a 750 ti. roflz...

No one ever includes the operating system in cheap builds. I can't imagine people who game only on consoles would have a spare Windows key lying around

I dont know what you TC are expecting by asking this topic on this board. A board called PC. A board meant for PC gamers. A board filled with PC gamers and no one else.

Seriously, man? Ever thought about posting this topic on a more diverse, general board like say, CE for instance? You know, to get actual valid responses and differing opinions?

Haha that video says medium settings and not ultra settings and the gameplay is still choppy when the frames decrease from explosions in the youtube video. This is what I mean you cannot trust what a youtube video would tell you unless it's from a well known source. The big games next year I am guessing will be just as or more demanding than crysis 3

Saying you can achieve 1080p ultra and 30fps with no slow downs on any game for that $400 setup is bull. I am not pro console by any means but to say you will not run into any issues trying to achieve that for any game is laughable. So once again I say the $400 you spend on the ps4 would be better spent than buying that pc.

Oops, my bad, clicked on the wrong card.

The PS4's card still gets better FPS in everything, so my point still stands. You lose.

Saying you can achieve 1080p Ultra settings @ 30fps on a $400 console without slowdowns is BS. As I said the game runs and looks better on a $400 PC than a PS4. If you don't want the slowdowns you can cap the FPS @ 30 and leave the settings at a mix of medium/high. The framrate will never dip below 30 and you won't experience slowdowns.

Proof please, that the PS4 can run Crysis 3 on medium settings on 1080p at 30fps? You'll never find it because consoles don't run games at that resolution other than a select few.

But you just keep on trolling.

ROFLZ, look at those dips in FPS, and the game isn't even running at 1080p. sad sad sad.
