So we can have a healthy discussion and take your thoughts seriously. Duh.

Wait.. you made a topic asking why early access gets no updates yet instead of bringing games up and to have a discussion. You just decide to not bother?

That's like paying to get a procedure done at the Hospital and you choose not to do it.

Because people are idiots who throw money at unfinished games.

Most of the Early Access games I play receive regular updates. Like Lichdom and Endless Legend.

Let me tell you though, it's pretty annoying seeing people who don't invest in Early Access games telling everyone else what's what when they themselves have no first hand experience with the program.

TC if you think Early Access is a good idea then you must love getting scammed. Early access has got to be the most horrible idea in gaming history next to day one DLC. Companies cheating of their customers by either locking out content from the full version to sell separately or Early access titles are a HUGE sign of a company milking its customers for money. People such as you are gulliable and like to waste money supporting this crap.

If you really feel that strongly about EA games, do yourself a favor and commit to your stance by never buying any game that has been a part of the EA program - even after final release. Otherwise you're a hypocrite.

Early Access is one of those things with hidden benefits that are not apparent to people. Example: I can't tell you what kind of game Don't Starve would have been without Early Access. I can only tell you how awesome it is now, after having gone through Early Access.

So, Early Access is just one of those things thats easy to criticize because people tend to look over its benfits.

I agree. Why should they reap the reward of others' early adoption.

For the same reason that anybody ever reaps any "rewards" of picking up any product post-1.0?

Like... srsly? Are you really making this argument right now?
