Yeah I'm sure it is but troubleshooting it is a ***** because of the sheer amount of combinations in options

How about some explanation for these choices?
Yes, please. I'm using bit torrent but it's really just because it was the first I ever found so I know it's not a fake virus or anything. If there's better out there I'd love to know.

Utorrent but the older versions.
2.2.1 Seems to be the way to go.
Yup! That's what I'm using. I still miss the days when you didn't even need to install it and it just sat on your desktop like a jpeg though.

Used to use utorrent, switched to tixati. It's uglier, but it's way better in my opinion. --- "Are you going to buy this time? Or are you still just curious?" "Well, I supposed you could say I'm Buy-Curious" ~PSN - greeniebeanie

Use Deluge. Do not use uTorrent they are in bed with the MPAA and others. --- I am your savior. I am corruption. I am the angel, of your destruction. I am perversion. Secret desire. I am your future, swallowed up in fire.

How do you get rid of the garbage files? For me it just creates a ton of placeholder files and never removes them --- Deth Pen http://i.imgur.com/eMXgU.gif

too bad its linux only...
No it isn't, there's an unofficial Windows build called Transmission-QT Win. That's what I use, and it's dramatically faster than Tixati, which I was using before. --- Console war in a nutshell: http://imgur.com/xA6GJZ9.png
