Just grab the Xbox one. Imo Gaming PC are an all or nothing thing, Granted there are varying degrees of them, but under $700 isnt really worth it.

Try this out, it would be the same price as your PC, but it has all new parts.

I've even benchmarked this PC myself and in the link I included Metro: LL benchmarks and the settings I used.

That's actually a tough call. The XB1 will look better, but it is a console so be prepared to pay for online and a lot for games.

The PC on the other hand would let you start building a library, but those are kind of hard to upgrade to begin with so unless you plan on buying a different PC in the future it's almost a waste.

I'd either save some more scratch for a better PC (check cyberpowerpc.com for some decent prebuilts for gaming) or go with the xb1, I guess.

Nah, a $400 PC will hands down look better than the new consoles, and run much better as well.

Depending on the i3, it could actually be faster than Xbone.

I can tell you w/o a doubt that PC will be much faster than the XB1, especially with a 750 ti. You can look at the link in my first post to see Metro: LL benchmarked on a similar PC.

Just get the xbone or ps4. That PC is garbage. Or keep saving.

A first gen i3 may run some games better than Xbone, maybe, but it certainly wouldn't be markedly superior.

Did you see the benchmark for Metro: LL that PC is nowhere near garbage. It's the same price as a PS4/XB1 and performs way better.

My brother plays pretty much any game on a mix of High and Ultra.

yeh that's true, but for the money he's spending he might as well take a look @ my build. It would cost him less in the end.

Windows 8 can be gotten for as low as $70, this means the PC in my link would still be cheaper than buying that refurbed one and adding in a 750 ti. Also you'll have all new parts, which is always good.
