wtf is with steam this week?

It seems like it's having more trouble than I've ever seen the last few days. Anyone heard an official statement or DOS attack rumours or anything of that sort?

I swear I've had more times with it down or random disconnects this week than in the rest of my years on it combined.

Gaben dropped his cheeseburger and knocked over a rack of switches bending over to retrieve it.

Your problem is you've spent your whole life thinking there are rules. There aren't. We used to be gorillas.

Fool.

Gaben no longer eats cheezeburgerz. He codes them directly into his stomach.

I'm going to attack your DOS!

Actually, there have been some recent gaming related DDOS attacks using a new kit.

They shouldn't put their critical network infrastructure so close to their in-house cheeseburger vendor or stuff like that is bound do happen

Lmao didn't even catch I typo'd that. It does seem like suspicious timing then.

I haven't had any problems with steam all day long. It must be your area.

Looking at that graph there have been a few short outages (the dips in the graph) but nothing major; also nothing out of the ordinary.

Today the number of BGP routes on the internet exceeded 512k which caused network outages all over the place, I'm actually surprised Steam traffic was as steady as it was today

Interesting. I haven't heard anything about this so it's news to me. I guess it's a bigger deal if your area is getting hit by the outages.
