Does AMD suck or is it just me?

I'd take an 8800GT over a 290x. AMD is trash. If I wanted something that performed better, I'd update my GPU. I wouldn't switch brands and lose out on driver support, shadowplay and physx in the name of saving a few dollars.

If AMD was trash, people wouldn't buy it, and it would be completely out of business.

Last I checked, AMD is doing just fine. As a matter of fact, it's doing better than Nvidia.

Yeah the only reason why intel has such a high market share for CPU's is because of all the dirty tricks they pulled that ended up with them paying AMD $1.3bn stuff like paying PC makers to only use intel CPU's in their computers as well as paying off a German retailer to only stock PC's with intel CPU's. Then they created a compiler that would cripple performance on AMD and payed off websites and you tubers to post positive comments about Intel and make AMD look bad by faking benchmark scores or using programs/games that contained intels compiler so as to hinder performance on AMD systems.

Ok? All I got out of that post is that it's still superior...which is what I said.

Are you trying to deny AMD has weaker products than Nvidia? Because if you are, you're clueless, and if you aren't, why are you arguing with me? There's no conversation here.

Show me an Nvidia card that can beat the R9 295X2 then, if AMD has weaker products than Nvidia.

So you're comparing a card which is literally two cards against a single card? That still matches or surpasses it in almost every benchmark? Because all the real word tests put the 780 ti there. And playing the price game like you did with the Titan Z, you could get two 780 ti's for less than the 295X2 and smash it's performance.

Take your weak hardware to the PS4 kids, maybe they'll be impressed.

The Titan Z is the Nvidia equivalent to the 295X2. And it's twice the price.

And no, the SLI'd 780 Ti's don't "Smash" the 295X2's performance.

The SLI'd 780 Ti's are equivalent to the 295X2, but the problem with SLI and Crossfire is instability. The 295X2 doesn't have that instability.

Yes... it does. It's literally two 290x's in crossfire, except they put the GPU's both on the same card to save a little space and make cooling easier. That's how ALL dual cards work, be they Nvidia or AMD, and is why they're always a terrible buy because they have to underclock them, and two of the single card will always perform better.

They don't suck. They are just worse then their competitors at everything. Good for 2nd place

Not at everything. They're always cheaper.

Yes FX 8350 is good on a budget

Cheaper isn't always a good thing

295x is a great card for the 8 people that decided to buy it. Not a big market for it. Plus I hope amd stays on top of the drivers for it. In the past they have not done so

Nothing like Intel kiddies that pay extra for a K CPU and z97 motherboard just to run it at stock forever. Then bash on amd. I iz suh smert I can readz forumz and think I iz smart. Her der merster rerce xD

How is this different from the AMD kiddies that actually believe AMD's CPU's have 8 true cores because they haven't looked at the architecture?

That makes sense. Dual 290xs totally beat a single 295X2, I mean, look at these benchmarks! I didn't know you could average between 5 and 15 FPS LESS than a card and still be performing better. You learn something new every day.
