Windows update? They tend to randomly restart computers.

It's what Windows 8 loves to do. It downloads and installs updates but then forces you to restart days later if you don't choose to do it sooner.

Yeah, I now know that it was due to updates after checking the Event Viewer a little more. I was just confused because Windows Update told me the last installation was two days ago and not this morning.
