Project CARS is the best looking racing game i've seen

While Project Cars does look nice, it isn't a proper comparison when the real life video was shot with a low quality camera.

Did you even look at the camera they used? it's nowhere near low quality.. derp The camera can do up to 4k @ 48fps or 1080p @ 60fps.

The video quality speaks for itself.

The video quality is the fault of YouTube though, not the camera.

That said, I am impressed, both with the graphics and sound of Project CARS, and how accurate the car performance seems.

There was a video of a Caterham on the PCH that I just love.

I try not to focus on graphics, I think of it as an empty venture.

Wow, this game blew me away a bit.

PCars is impressive graphically but in terms of overall realism (particularly handling) is lagging behind Assetto Corsa somewhat.

I strongly recommend you take a look at that if you're interested in realistic racing games.

Eh, Assetto Corsa has too few cars for me to really care that much about, unless they added a bunch recently.

Have you tried the experimental FFB changes on the Formula C?

Can't wait for this to release feature complete. I was there on the nogrip racing forums when the devs were discussing the idea of a community funded racer (after being rushed and having their ideas changed with NFS Shift 2). Absolutely amazed at how successful the project was. Kickstarter wasn't really a big thing yet when they were talking about it.

Yeah, I wasn't initially sure it would get off the ground, but as soon as the funding started to build up everyone's really gone all-out for the last two and a half years and there's way more content than I ever expected. It's so close now, it's great.
