I dislike Steam's new font and I don't see the point of the blue.

change is hard.

That's what stupid people say.

Change should be reserved for something that improves the current situation, or fixes a problem.

To praise "change" just because it's a change, is the philosophy of a moron.

Having said all that, I like the new look but the font could be better, and there's lag when I scroll my library. You like change,? Well then, hope that they "change" those two problems they created with the "change".

It is kind of unusual that they went with this blue accented theme all of a sudden.

I've never seen this color associated with Steam before. In fact it was always just black.

Funny, I find the new font easy to read myself.

Maybe the thing was engineered for people with terrible eyesight.

Nothing you explained even applies to the comment, "change is hard." For one, that's not what stupid people say. Two, change shouldn't just be reserved for improvements or fixing a problem, as people like variety, and having something different but not necessarily better, is enjoyable for many people. Lastly, that comment wasn't praising change, nor was really anyone in this topic just because it's a change.

Though if we really wanted to discuss change for the sake of change as a philosophy, it's not moronic at all...it's actually exactly what people generally like and want because we seem to inherently get sick of things the way they are and want something new, even if it's not always better. It's a pretty basic concept, really.

It was a cool color scheme for the time, back in the days when PC gaming was more hardcore, rugged, and less mainstream.

Steam's military-like green theme had a badass feel to it.

I think the light blue is to help buttons and headers stand out so you can quickly find a button or text section you want.

So I got curious and switched back to the default skin, I guess it's been too long since I last saw it because I'm not noticing anything, i.e. it looks the way I remember.
