Mine's pretty much inaudible unless it's stressed.

Everything about my PC is about as quiet as I want it to be but my GPU.
The tards at EVGA set the minimum fan speed for the GTX760 at 43%.
An available bios revision for the dual bios models that came out months after its initial release lets you bring the fans down to 33% but the single bios models are stuck unless you want to flash a bios to it from a different manufacturer (people have had success with MSI's bios).

I'll definitely be looking at Gigabyte, ASUS, PNY or MSI before I look at another EVGA card in the future.

My ceiling fan is louder than my gaming PC, plus I can't hear anything over the game audio anyway. I just use the stock case fan and the ones built into my GPU and CPU heatsink. It's good enough.

One of my friends spend an extra $200 on case fans for complete silence, yet he always uses a headset for gaming, so he couldn't hear the stock fans anyway. Waste of money!

Sometimes you don't want to wear headphones. And having a quiet PC opens up the possibility of buying higher-end open backed headphones or having a sound system.

I have a HAF 922, which by no means is silent.

Bought a half inch thick set of noise dampening foam and put it on the panel. it's quiet by a mile and all I notice is a slight low pitched hum.

This is with a phanteks cooler with 2 fans, exhaust fan, top fan and intake fans.

Yes, it's quiet enough during idle and understandable when it's under full load, but I like knowing it's running and hearing the quiet hum of the fans whirling. Maybe I've spent too much time in server rooms where if something isn't making some sort of noise it quickly becomes a problem.
