This was a build for my brother who wanted to spend as little money as
possible to game on a PC. This PC was meant to compete with the new
consoles like PS4/XB1, and it performed much better than I expected. At
the time I built this it cost me $435.

To prove what this system is capable of I ran a benchmark in one of the
most graphically intense games known to date.

The Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/Rbhqqs
Current Cost: $392 w/o OS
Metro: Last Light Benchmark(he didn't have a 1080p monitor, so I went with 720p):

The Settings(PhysX disabled since the consoles don't run it):
Resolution: 1366 x 768
DirectX: DirectX 11
Quality: Very High
Texture filtering: AF 16X
Advanced PhysX: Disabled
Tesselation: Very High
Motion Blur: Normal
SSAA: OFF

The Results:
Total Frames: 7254
Total Time: 170.7771 sec
Average Framerate: 42.51
Max. Framerate: 77.76 (Frame: 5736)

If anyone would like me to benchmark a specific game on this machine please check out the list of games I have on Steam:

PS4 will be running it at 1080 60 FPS.

Your argument is invalid.

PS4 will not be running it at the same settings... In fact the Redux version on the PS4 doesn't even look as good as the original on PC.

Also, this wasn't an argument it's a fact that this build is stronger than the PS4.

Battlefield 4 on the PS4/X1 are running at Medium settings @ 720p/60fps. The 750ti can get about 35FPS on ULTRA @ 1080p.

I can guarantee you that at medium settings an 720 the game would run well above 60fps on a 750ti.

Your argument is invalid bro, and lolz. Sorry your precious console can't even compete with a $400 PC.

750ti running BF4 @ medium 1080p settings getting 83fps.

This actually looks pretty good for its price. I'll probably reccomend this to people when the next
"i wnt desktop but only hab 500$"
I actually like how you went with a 720p instead of a 1080p,
If you're doing budget gaming, A 1080p wouldn't be that important.

That being said, I'm curious how would Skyrim and Dark Souls(2) run on this PC?
Try putting it as high as possible while having a playable frame rate.

Will do tomorrow afternoon, I also did a benchmark of Metro: LL @ 720p w/ SSAA making the resolution much higher than 1080p and the average FPS was 29.97. So it definitely can run Metro LL @ 1080p and maintain 30+fps.

Dude it's not even worth arguing with him over. We've been at it all day, he refuses to admit when he's wrong. Arguing with him is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are at chess, the pigeon is just gonna knock over the pieces, crap all over the board, and then strut around like it just won the game.

So when are you going to admit that you're the pigeon? You shouldn't be talking about hardware you know nothing about. It's obvious you're new to PC gaming while I've been at it for decades now; I know my hardware and what it's capable of. You're just being ignorant at this point, so please don't even come back and post no one wants you here.

PS4 is running at high settings 900p, 1080. And nice try. My 270x averages 42 FPS on Ultra on BF4, there's no way that weak-ass card could handle it at 35. As a matter of fact, according to AnandTech, it barely manages 28 FPS at Ultra.

Do these same benchmarks at 1080...that is the standard. That's what all people who hook it up to a TV will use. I don't even know ANYONE with a 720 monitor...

The 750ti is pretty decent for Windows use. I can't say I'd run newer games with it.

Also this is the most important part...what's the LOWEST frame rate. Who cares about max/average...we all know the lowest is what matters. I dint care if my average is 45 if there are any dips below 30 which is boarderline unacceptable.

It should be 60/60/60 across the board. Obviously more if you have vsync off but the min should still be 60 or around it.
