can I make a pc without a pc case? Like use a box or something around that?

I've seen people make plastic cases for computers and was wondering if I could do it.

Would really like spending those 50 bucks on getting a better graphics card or cpu

Why is it that he can hit a 3rd baseman on a frozen rope from 300 feet away, but he can't hit a 12 foot tall catcher from 60 feet 6 inches away?

What is a case for anything do? It protects the item(s) inside of it. Will it run without one? Yes. But you should get one though.

just put all of the components in your freezer.

You can put all of the components anywhere but ensure the motherboard is on a non-conducting surface so it doesn't short-circuit, a box is fine. Starting the PC would be hard as there's no case button, but there are other methods.

Depending on the motherboard you buy, you might have to short the motherboard every time you want to turn the computer on. As in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ewkjDf4bZM .
