Why build now when there is new stuff just around the corner?

Why a 4590s? The 4590 would be better in almost every case and is usually the same price.

Either way, without a decent amount of overclocking on the amd I would go Intel and cheaper card, it's easier to upgrade the card than the chip (and probably the mobo again when you do upgrade the chip).

because microcenter has a deal on it. I couldn't afford intel otherwise, period.

Ah ok, $20 off. I'd still go with it, I guess, you want the CPU and mobo (and case for that matter) to last the longest of all your hardware, since it's far more of a pain to switch out than the rest.

The most value loaded option is the 280 and FX-8350. The 4590s, 270 combo is going to leave a bad taste in your mouth on two fronts, one you didn't get very good value for your CPU purchase and two a 270 is only a decent card. Also the performance of the 8350 and 4590s aren't that far apart, which isn't even that important considering most games will be GPU-limited.

is this budget JUST for components? Or do you need other stuff(Windows, Monitor, etc) as well?
