Time to rethink beats headphones?

Is this even the right board for headphones?

I'm entirely unsure there is a right board for headphones but seeing as how sound is an integral part of the PC gaming experience it's as valid as any other PC peripheral.

Your problem is you've spent your whole life thinking there are rules. There aren't. We used to be gorillas.

I always considered this board pretty much all tech since if you're a PC gamer you likely are interested in other categories of technology. Plus, this kinda falls in line with soundcards and sound is an integral part of gaming. I've seen people talk about headphones here before.

Well, it's a primarily gaming site after all, and brands like beats aren't meant for gaming at all.
I personally know a lot about gaming headsets, but when it comes to listening to music for example, any decent-tier earphones do fine for me.

I've never been a fan of gaming headsets. I've always been in the mindset of, "Buy a good set of cans and get a mic" to get the best of both worlds. Luckily for us though, we're PC gamers and have choices.

That's pretty neat.

They'll probably still be swept under the rug by audiophiles though due to their bad rep.

I wonder if the Beats by Apple is the reason they apparently improved in quality.
