This would be kind of nice for those of us that want input or opinions on our builds or to have a little repository to link people to when the 10th thread of the day asks for a particular build.

Anyways:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RLQMMp
No OS, No accesories, $424, ($450 with a cpu cooler for boosting higher numbers http://pcpartpicker.com/p/FmtHqs )
OC needed, 1080p

Cheap Console/entry level build, the whole idea is to overclock the G3258 (about 4.1-4.3 on stock cooler) now that H81's can have their bios updated to handle it in order to stay at console pricing and get similar performance. It'll beat them on a few games, but lose on others, and it won't stay competitive once they actually start optimizing games around the next gen and figuring them out--but it will let someone start playing on PC and building their library for pretty cheap.
It's not a long term build, it was purely made for a friend who wanted to PC game but only had the budget for Console right now, still it should run 1080p, 30fps and medium+ settings for the next few years. Again, this is purely for people who are obsessed with getting into PC gaming at a console level price, it's far more worthwhile to save up more and get a PC that will blow away a console in the 800 range.

I have to rebuild my suggested entry level build and post that at some point, it's more for those that can afford a decent amount but want to hit a good price to performance ratio.

Ya ever get that Thief Benchmark done, Cloud? And not to jump into the chorus, but it does apply to more people if you can figure out a way to bench those at 1080, even if it's just on someone else's monitor or TV, easier to compare to other builds.

Also, now I'm wondering if I should cut the 8gb to 4gb in my own cheap build, it's not really necessary to put 8 in, I think I just do that by default now lol.
