MSI offered to give me a different graphics card for my 560ti

Hello all, my MSI 560ti Twin Frozr II had basically died on me, and luckily I was able to send it in to get repaired. After a week they said they did not have the parts to fix my card and offered me $65 for it. After asking if there was another option, they offered to give me a N650Ti PE 1GD5/OC. How does that card compare to the 560ti? I'm currently using a geforce 630 (I know it's more of a media card).

Tl;dr: Whats better: 560ti twin frozr ii 1GB, or N650Ti PE 1GD5.OC?

Thanks!

After I posted, I started doing some more research as well. So the general consensus is that the 560ti is better?

65 dollars and no graphics card

Yes

Well I guess it's better than what I have now, and probably better than $65

If you're not planning on buying a gpu anytime soon then I would go with the 650 ti.

Are you under warranty? I would complain to customer service, demand a supervisor, etc. The point of having a warranty in the first place is not to get screwed like this. If they put out a card that was defective (dying within the warranty period sounds like a defect to me) then they should take care of you because they have now caused you to be inconvenienced by buying their product. Telling you to take half the card's value in cash or a weaker card as compensation for their screw-up is not very good service.

Yeah, I would see if they could offer you a better solution as well. That's pretty dodgy of them to not give you a card that's the same or a bit better.
