ah ok I think I will go with the recommended one then. Getting my hands on an OS shouldnt be too hard but if I somehow can't then I will just buy one

So the first person (a family member) I asked about an OS said that he can help me with it by using something called VMWare or something around those lines. Is something like that safe or should I just say screw it and buy the OS?

VMWare is a virtual OS. It will require more power to run games on a VM than just an OS. Plus you still need to buy the OS, unless he wants to do this illegally.

lol knowing him thats probably the case. So my safest bet is going with an OS

you know any college students in your family? They can usually get a pretty good discount on windows from their university book store.

I myself am a college student. Classes start monday for me so I might go check that out
