Lol @ people playing it with a controller.
Lol @ people thinking it can't be played with a controller on PC.

Playing on PS4 myself. Loving the controller setup. I played through the PC version once and had a blast, but I'm really digging these improved controls.

Don't be jell, but these are the games in which I play.

Yeah, weird how a device design for games is better at playing games than a device designed for creating spreadsheets. Who would have thought?

Eh.

Mouse+keyboard is objectively better for FPS. And good luck playing RTS with a controller.

Different control schemes favor different genres. Even a touch screen is superior for certain types of games.

How is Diablo 3 these days? I picked it up back at release, played through normal and most if not all of hard as Sorceress. Didn't really see what all the fuss was about. Had no problem with the RMAH because I refuse to pay money for pixels, didn't see much point to continually playing through the same game over and over and over just to get bigger numbers for the sake of having bigger numbers.

Did Reaper of Souls make any significant changes beyond adding more content? Is the same substantially different now than it was, in ways that make it more fun or interesting?

Well playing an RTS is pretty much like managing a spreadsheet anyways so of course it's better with M+S.

It's not Reaper of Souls that made significant changes to the game, it's the "Loot 2.0" update that came out about a week before RoS and completely revamped the difficulty levels and loot drops. RoS does add adventure mode, which is all I play after I beat the campaign.

you can't aim with controller though.

of course, the game itself is so simplified that you hardly need to aim anything.

PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy.

Hi C posted...
The game sucks PC or console, pre and post expansion, regardless.

Adding the RMAH was stupid of them. Caving to the whiners and removing it, especially after most of the profits were made, was even more stupid.

Blizzard couldn't do anything right if their lives depended on it.

They've been mostly just a "pc game on the side" company for console gamers since 2005 anyway.

Blizzard remains one of the greatest developers in the world, up there with Nintendo EAD and Naughty Dog.

People way over-reacted to how bad Diablo III was (it wasn't bad at all, it just had some problems) when it launched. And they subsequently fixed it.

They've done this with many of their games in the past -- Warcraft 3, for example, was nearly unplayable at launch and required an expansion to fix the core gameplay. Anyone who doesn't remember this is too young, or is looking back with rose-colored glasses.

What was the game the anti-Blizzard fanboys were raving about back then? Torch light 2? Does anyone even play it anymore? What's the game they're raving about now? Path of Exile? Both will soon be forgotten. Meanwhile, Diablo III will still be relevant 5-8 years from now.

Blizzard games stand the test of time. No other company even comes close.

Oh goodness, please try and remove your head from your sphincter. I'm personally a fan of D3 after the changes, but to act like other games that come out are incapable of remaining relevant because blizzard didn't make them just makes you come across like an asinine fan-boy.

I can aim with a controller. Besides, I played Torchlight 2 with M+K and that had VERY generous auto-aim so...
