Curious what motherboard you have, normally those things can go quite a bit higher than that.

AMD FX-6300 @ 4.7ghz

Stock is 3.5ghz so this is a 1.2ghz overclock across all cores

And my CPU still beats yours at stock speed lol.

Sorry.. I'm being an ass.

If the consensus is to be believed... I'm up for a comparison if you are. I'm genuinely curious to see the difference for myself.

Find a CPU bench and let's do thisssss.

I'll try to find one. I could be wrong... Its gonna be hard to find one I bet.. I have an i5 3570

Edit. Well my CPU isn't at stock... So any benchmarks for CPU use would be invalid. Iw ould have to put my back at stock..

Edit 2: I found this info though but this is at stock speeds for both CPUs...

I found this site for a cPU benchmark

http://silver.urih.com/

At my current speed I got a 14042 on it.

I can put my system back to stock if you want me too and then we can see.

which test did you run? there's 3

Late reply...

I just ran the normal Benchmark one

I have my 8350 mostly at 4.4ghz. I have taken it to 4.8ghz just fine before, but 4.4ghz runs everything fine.

4820k, currently @ 4.4GHz. I've run it stable at 4.8+ but see no reason to keep it at that for daily use. 4.4GHz satisfies my daily epeen needs.

4670k @ stock 3.4GHz

On the rare occasion I actually gotta go fast I just bump up to 4GHz. Haven't needed to even attempt going higher yet.
