Connecting PSU to motherboard.... PLEASE HELP! (pics)

This wire came with the PSU. Both ends say "CPU" and both ends are 8pin... but one of the ends are split in half.

Does it matter which end connects to the mobo and which one connects to the PSU??

No it doesn't matter. Plug the 8 pin connector to the 8 pin slot and don't worry about the others. Or you can is the 2 4-pin ones for the 8 pin slot on the board. Also make sure you got the 14 pin connector in on the board as well.

Ok thank you guys!

While I have you here i'll shamelessly add 2 more quick questions..

1. Do I connect the PCI-E wire from my GPU into the PSU where it says VGA1?

2. What is the "PERIF" slot in my PSU for? (next to SATA 1)... I have the Samsung Pro SSD.. the best place to connect that would be in SATA1 right?

1. Yes
2. I do not know what PERIF is but connect the SSD in the SATA slot.

Didn't your PSU come with a manual?

I wonder if that is spelled wrong... Peripheral. I guess that is where you hook up a fan, sound card, lighting, etc...
