So I need to paste something ~1000 times. Software/site for this?

Put simply, I have a small block of text that I need to paste about 1,000 times into a word document.
I'm not hitting ctrl+v 1,000 times. I'm sure there's a simpler way to do this, maybe a site online that will replicate text for me then I can just copy/paste the entire block? or a third party software or something.

Odd request, I know, but I require this.

Serious topic? If so...

Paste it once, copy that, now only 500 times. Repeat again, now only 250 times. Repeat again, etc.

Copy, paste ten times. Copy that, paste ten times. Copy that, paste ten times. 1000 copies, done.

Do you know how to program? Use an online interpreter. I'm serious. Print that text out 1000 times, then select everything.

That's what I would do.

Write a program that loops from 0 to 999 or 1 to 1000 depending on the language and writes the text out to a text file each iteration of the loop.

Then just open the file and copy the text into Word.

to the people suggesting he just "write a program"

do you really think someone who couldnt figure out how to copy/paste something a bunch of times knows how to program?

Learn vim, or sed.

Your problem is you've spent your whole life thinking there are rules. There aren't. We used to be gorillas.

You could write the program in about 2 lines of code, excluding the structural stuff. Python would be fabulous for this, but C++ would be 2 lines of actual code, the rest would be braces and includes.

While that would be easier, I have a feeling he'd have an easier time learning to write a simple program than install Linux, much less learn some command line stuff.
