The Stanley Parable

What a great game, so many emotions felt, so many choices... Deceive, nostalgia, anger, happiness, sadness, adventure (with music), Outsmarting someone (emotion), triumph, later turned to unhappiness, solitude, love, fake love, boredom, confusion, I CANT JUMP! This game may change my life, not sure yet, all I know is that my wife isn't real and I have been floating through stars dreaming during work. I think or maybe I'm daydreaming at work... WHY CAN"T I JUMP!? I am told to do something, I do not listen, I am told again, I do not listen. A cardboard baby dies because of my decision. Am I a bad person or am I just defiant? Am I just easily annoyed or am I eager to find shortcuts? There are no shortcuts to my bosses office, I have not reached it yet, but it is so simple just a couple doors ahead. Why must I take the road less traveled why can I not listen to the rules. I left the office, that is against the rules... what will my boss say? Will he be upset? Will he not be there? Will anyone be there? Why am I so alone and why can I not jump? These questions have yet to be answered.

You can't jump because feet aren't real.

Seriously though, I might have to find greener pastures after playing this game. It tells me I live a great life in my head, but in reality I am just waiting to die. That sounds like me! I am going to show the world tomorrow, bright an early I will get pancakes and tacos with friends, then go for a long walk to work off the food. Finally get serious about schooling, finish that up, and become a professional wrestler.

I just played Actual Sunlight and this post is funny to me.

It was a fun game, it's the whole thing where you can play it straight and it's pretty cool, but then after that you just look for ways to ruin this guy's story and then see how the narrator tries his best to foil you, and sometimes you can make the guy rage quit.

It takes over 6 hours to actually beat the game.

Yeah I got 6-8 hours out of it, with some of it idling to find all the secrets on the forums at launch. The demo is a separate thing and a lot of fun. I got an hour out of that (I might have replayed it). So yesh, your Stanley experience isn't complete without the demo.
