I can't use PhysX in games like Metro Redux and others with an AMD R9 270X gpu? So am I out of luck with using PhysX at all without having a nVidia gpu? --- --- Aliens(1986)... Okay well this sucks. I guess I will have to get a nVidia card soon. What's the best one I get for under $200 that compares to a the R9 270X that I have now? --- --- Aliens(1986)... Physx is great. Not many games use it, but it's pretty awesome in the ones that do.
anyways as stated above TC can use tressfx in tomb raider and enjoy some eye candy that way.
it looked pretty great and hopefully we'll see more games with it soon since that will probably encourage nvidia to secure more physx games. --- PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy. http://i.imgur.com/9Yv0R2Z.jpg
IIRC, you can, but it'll run off the CPU, which will hurt performance. PhysX doesn't really seem to be such a hard thing to run anymore, tbh. --- god invented extension cords. -elchris79 Starcraft 2 has no depth or challenge -GoreGross
the only game that had good physx was borderlands 2 every other "physx" game is so poor its not worth using
and in borderlands 2 you can activate physx on a AMD card but it'll hamper your frames alot more, so its possible to do with higher end AMD cards, idk if metro locks it out or not --- Ronnie O'Neal McLendon 08/09/1960 - 11/16/2011
