Hey, guys.

I'm building my first pc next week and I had a few questions.

What antivirus software to use and a side questions of can I connect the mouse and keyboard and the mouse will be functional for the initial bios setup?

Depends on the bios, if its UEFI the mouse should work, but that really depends on the the board.

Malwarebytes and Microsoft security essentials are good, both are free and do a great job at keeping things running smooth.

How do you know you have 0 issues without an antivirus?

to be fair, not all viruses cause issues apparent to the end user.
