So is activision pretty stingy? Is the best sale we are going to see on COD?

Atleast for a while? Have they ever done half off on their games before?

I want to buy all the CODs even though I own them on ps3.

You can find em cheaper in other places such as amazon. The newer ones, starting with Black Ops all register on Steam even when bought retail.

Edit: Yeah, they are very stingy and Activision rarely lower prices. Strangely, BO2 and Ghosts both cost the same.
I am not economically viable.

it seems like they are all about the same price as their steam sales right now

Do you want to see how stingy Activision is?

Here's a 10 year old game and look at the price of it:

COD is popular and keeps its value.

I don't think their stingy otherwise they'd charge you for every WOW expac still/

Yes they are stingy, I remember a while ago they raised the prices on their PC games from 50-60 USD just because they could. Wasn't a profit thing, just did it to pretty much see if people would pay it...low and behold they did.

Honestly... for all of the things Activision has done wrong in the industry, I really don't fault them here. Call of Duty games sell continuously and not just the newer ones. If a particular game is known for being one of "the better" CoD games, then it will have legs far and beyond sequels. (Black Ops 2 being one of those)

Actually yeah, some of the Call of Duty games HAVE dropped more than 50% off before. But never on Steam as far as I know.

Amazon once ran a promo for Modern Warfare 2 for $4.99 back in early 2012 (haven't seen them sell it for that low again since then). Also some places like Newegg have had the MAC versions of Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4 for $4.99 as well, and since those are Steamplay titles they work on PC as well.

But yeah, Activision rarely has great deals anymore.

Maybe they just need to learn that friendship is magic, and they'll lower their prices just for you.
