Do you have friends to play co-op games with?

I do, but I don't like playing with them usually. I remember getting really annoyed trying to play Path of Exile with a friend because he was constantly asking about what I was picking up, which slowed the game down considerably.

Used to do frequent 3/4 player LAN parties with L4D back in the day. Also did some team ladder matches in SC2. Not sure what's a good Coop nowadays so I haven't played any recently

The wife if there is ever something we both want to play, that doesn't happen very often anymore. used to have 4 other pretty active gamer friends, but we fell out of contact this past year when I bought my house and moved.

If you're not averse to the idea of puzzles rather than straight up action, you can do Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light Co-op... there's a lot of points where one character has to throw a spear for Lara to stand on while Lara has to throw a rope out to rings for the other character to walk across a gap...or whatever. There's also at least one puzzle (I haven't finished the game myself) that requires coordination from both sides to complete so it's not all "I hold the door open, you go through" type stuff...

If TC was talking specifically about "Couch Co-op" then I don't know if that works.. I assume it does because I remember using a controller to play it and I don't see why you can't use a 2nd controller...

According to that, yeah, it works... also they list Battleblock theater as a good local co-op game.

Local co-op yeah. I don't have any online friends on Steam yet, I had a lot back when I played WoW but that's been years now. I've got a few on XBL but I don't have a Gold subscription anymore.

Nope.

Then the other day an old friend of mine told me about 7 Days to Die. Said he has a group of good people and their own server so I joined and damn is it ever fun playing with people who aren't dicks.
