Wth is wrong with chrome?

Yeah it seems the problem with mine is that it's not adhering to my pc's dpi settings so it looks even larger than I would like it to. I have no idea how to change it so that it follows my custom DPI :/, the guide in the above link is for windows 8 which I do not use.

The guide above should be for OS that is affected, it's just creating a shortcut, and pin that to your task bar. I have been using a manual shortcut for Chrome ever since they decided to conform to all OSes and make it touch friendly and thus they create HUGE gaps between menu items :P

Ah I see. Still didn't fix my problem, it just makes everything look really small instead :(

Uninstall Chrome email Google and tell them off and install Firefox.
