I really think Origin is the better DRM

I don't know why, but it rubs me in a better way.

I'd give Origin a 9/10 and Steam a 8.8/10

Is there no love for little brother Uplay? He's so lonely.

I prefer Steam and only tolerate the other 2 when I can't avoid them.

Origin is just as good as steam in every way, apart from the library of games. Uplay just sucks.

Origin = Cancer

Uplay = Ass Cancer

Steam = Morgan Freeman reading your eulogy at your funeral after you died having sex with hookers at a cocaine fueled super-orgy.

Origin is butts, uPlay is even more butts. Steam is mostly not butts but I for one welcome our new GOG overlords.

Edit: That was dumb, even for me.

I used to think that it was a bad thing that EA had their own client but thanks to that it's much easier for me to ignore them. If they had their games everywhere I might still be tempted to buy them more.

I have actually been tempted when an EA game still on steam goes on sale, but it has to be really cheap before I'll buy it. Last EA game on steam that I bought (but not bought on steam) was Crysis 2 in 2013 when they had that bundle with the origin and steam keys... I donated all of that to charity. Before that it was The Sims 3 in 2012 and I have barely played that.. :I

Otherwise, it's just like with the consoles... if there were any games I cared enough to play I might actually use Origin.

tl;dr: Thanks EA for making it easier to actually boycott you instead of making me want to boycott you but then still purchasing your games.

maybe when origin has in-home streaming and revamps their UI to not be completely antiquated and hideous we can talk about them competing with steam
