Console ports aren't games.

Actually, up until the 7th Generation, 100% of console games could be modded.

Nobody remembers the Game Genie, Game Shark, and Pro Action Replay, it seems.

PC games are mostly console ports now, plus many have an online component. Thus they will have anti-hacking measures baked into the code.

By this logic 100% of PC games are modable because of Cheat Engine.

I dunno where you're pulling this number from, wheres your source?

Regardless, 10% of games having mod support on PC is better than 0.002% when it comes to console game moddability.

That's bull. There's no way that many console games have mod support. There's, like, what, UT3? And that's it?
If you count custom content, there's that Bangai Oh game on DS, I think Far Cry 2, and the TimeSplitters games, along with those sack games, and maybe some puzzle titles. Looking at 0.00001% at best.

That said, even if only a dozen PC games ever got mod support, that alone would be a selling feature, since you get so much content just from that alone.

Most people don't want to mod all their games. The games people want to mod generally have mods. Modding Skyrim alone is a big deal to some people. So it's not the idea that you can mod all your games, it's the idea that there are mods for most games you'd want to mod.

I think Brawl has mod support since Project M (or whatever it's called) is a thing

It can be modded but it doesn't natively support mods.

Check.

That's not quite true. Manhunt for the wii and PSP are great examples of this. It's just not as modular as PC modding.

see above. there's console game mods all over. Again, its just not as modular and user friendly. I've played some wicked custom guitar hero games, uncensored manhunt, Marvel characters in Soul Calibur.... i could name dozens of fairly recent games.

mods are mods man. Tons of PC games don't natively support mods, GTA IV... for one. It doesnt stop anybody who's dedicated enough.

Are you talking about file swap hacks?
I wouldn't really consider that the same thing as proper mod support. Same with character creators and the like.

People keep saying things like "proper mod support" and "native mod support"

TC never differentiated between either/or. I don't wanna post links to backup what i'm saying because it's highly illegal as far as gfaqs is concerned, but yeah... spend a few minutes digging on google.

I'm not saying console mods are up to par with PC mods, nowhere close, not even in the same ballpark.

I'm just saying, it's possible, they're prevalent, and fairly simple if you have the knowhow.

Plus, I refuted your first argument, now you're changing it and being argumentative for the sake of the argument. And to that I say, AMD>Intel
