how reliable would buiying the sims 4 from here be?

#1thefabregas22Posted 9/3/2014 1:02:16 AM
Also is it even worth the money?
It's cheaper getting it from here

and I've used them before for a steam key and everything worked, I'm only reluctant because sims 4 doesn't have a uk release and I would be linking it with a uk account.

I also don't want to really pay 25 quid as I could just wait... I'd also eventually get it on disk as I prefer disk for sims games

I wouldn't risk it.

doesn't look reliable, remember that EA can deactivate your game if they think the cdkey is stolen

Surely if reliability isn't paramount you could get a "copy" for much less than 25 bob.

If you are concerned about reliability when making a purchase of digital goods (as you should be), your only sane option would be the publisher's chosen store (Origin). You might have to wait a day or two for them to offer it in your region, sure. But it's inconceivable that a franchise like The Sims wouldn't be released in the UK ever.

I thought the Sims 4 would only be available on Origin or a box copy at a store.

If it helps, I can confirm that cdkeys is a legitimate site. I've bought multiple games from there and never had any problems though they have all had release dates beforehand.

If you have to ask, it's probably not that reliable.
