Is there a name of types of PC game box packaging...

Back then before they just made the very thin DVD plastic box, they had full cardboard packing with box art all over. And there was this one specifically, where they had a flap on the front cover, and inside of it more art/info.

Example of that: http://www.ebay.com/itm/EA-GAMES-MEDAL-OF-HONOR-PACIFIC-ASSAULT-PC-CD-ROM-VIDEO-GAME-/181493215205?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item2a41d6afe5

I really enjoyed back then looking around for some games in the store, and looking through all the art on the boxes. I know it's called jewel case, boxed, but just wondering if there was more to it.

Back in the day, we also had full colour manuals, often times more than 50-100 pages long.

Arcanum, Fallout 1+2 had recipes in the back.

Much further back in the day, the boxes contained even larger books often containing the actual game text themselves. (not to mention all dem floppies)

Wasteland for instance had a giant book, and to dissuade cheaters they'd randomly place the text in different spots so you couldn't just read through it, and it even included a fake ending.

This was actually the first form of DRM, I'm not too keen on the the wasteland era of videogames however, so I'm sure someone else could fill you in on it.

Both Witcher games had huge manuals + a map. WoW and Warcraft III came with pretty thick manuals.
