Sold my 280x + 7970, Should i buy a gtx 750 to hold me over for now?

Long story short, Needed some money for things and i plan on getting a Gtx 970 or 980 at some point so i sold my Pair of cards Leaving me without a Dedicated Gpu and stuck using whatever my 4790k has (Hd5000?) Should i grab a Cheap gtx 750 to hold me over until i can afford a Good GPU?

Only thing is, its likely going to be a while before i can manage to get one of them, I planned on buying a Used 750/750 ti and reselling it once im able to get a 970/980.

What type of games are you playing mostly? The HD 5000 can play most indie games, and newer games as well at medium settings, so you could save the money and catch up on indie games and older games.

That's what I'd do anyways. Actually, what I did- played WoW on medium settings on my i7-3770k's integrated for about 4 months, and it did pretty well.

I used my IGP while waiting for my card and could play almost anything 720p medium. Which 8 feet from my 50 inch LCD still looked better than my consoles.

The HD4000 of the ivy bridge CPUs was about 4x as powerful as the 360/ps3. A 750/ti will be a lot faster but if you're alright with 720p/low there's not going to be many games that aren't playable. Anything newer is going to be even faster obviously.
