you might want to do some research on parts individually.

Also, Don't go with pre-made.

Athlon is AMD's brand name for their low budget performance CPUs. They are weak.

For video cards, the first number is the series (how new it is), while the second number indicates power within the series.

For nVidia, you want the number to be at least 5.

For AMD, you want the number to be at least 7.

That particular computer is weak.

It's more for HTPC builds. It has no business playing anything outside of indies. Coupled with that CPU you won't be doing any real gaming on that thing.

I like the (cheap) "flashy" cases probably bought in bulk in an attempt to boost sales however. Well played Ebay.

Comparing it to mobile and older CPUs that no longer are available to mainstream consumers. So of course their price is going to be higher, but what about comparing it to a chip like the g3258?

The g3258 is less expensive and with overclocking provides much better performance than the 750k.

But the Athlon is a quad core CPU whereas the pentium is a dual core CPU. Some games either struggle or refuse to load on a dual core system. Quad core is the minimum norm these days. Dual core is fine for basic stuff like web browsing but if you want to play games as well a quad core CPU will be better than a dual core one.
